  16. WIND3031.TXT    - Commentary for WIND3031.WSK
  17. ASRTD386.WSK    - WindSock Stat File, Assorted 386's

  19. WSK330.EXE      - Self-Extracting EXE of all the above (Backup)

  21. Note: Please feel free to upload these files to any BBS and pass
  22. copies around to anyone who is interested!

  24. In order to install WindSock 3.30:
  25.  
  26. 1) Check to see if you already have a TOOLHELP.DLL in your Windows
  27.    directory. If you do, check it's date stamp. If it is older than
  28.    the TOOLHELP.DLL included in this package, replace it with this
  29.    one, otherwise leave it.

  31.    NOTE: If you have an old version of Dr. Watson DO NOT delete your
  32.    current TOOLHELP.DLL. The two DLLs are incompatible and you will
  33.    not be able to run DR. Watson with the later one. Get a new version
  34.    of Dr. Watson. In the meantime you will have to alternate the DLLs
  35.    to run both products.

  37. 2) Copy the all the files to a directory on your hard disk. The windows
  38.    directory is OK but C:\WINDSOCK or whatever is probably easier to
  39.    manage.

  41. 3) Use File...New in the program manager to add the WINDSOCK.EXE to
  42.    one of your program groups.
  43.  
  44. NOTE: .WSK Files can be renamed or combined. There is no 'Header' record
  45. so you can copy a number of .WSK files into one larger one if you like.
